OzAurum was established to identify, explore and develop two long-held, strategic gold projects in Western Australia.
The Company is the 100% owner of Mulgabbie North and the Patricia Project, which together cover a strike length of 10km of greenstone belt geology in the Norseman-Wiluna Greenstone Belt, one of the richest and most prolific gold-producing camps in Australia.
OzAurum’s tenement portfolio sits in the shadow of Northern Star Resources’ (ASX:NST) Carosue Dam gold mine about 100km northeast of Kalgoorlie, a region that has been the subject of considerable greenfields exploration.
Notable explorers in the area include St Barbara (ASX:SBM), Breaker Resources (ASX:BRB), Nexus Minerals (ASX: NXM) and Apollo Consolidated (ASX:AOP).
Jeffrey Williams has over 40 years’ industry experience with 16 years’ experience as a professional mining engineer in Australia and seven years in the stockbroking industry, and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. His mining experience ranges from mine planning, underground management and feasibility studies through to mine development.
Jeffrey was the Managing Director of Mineral Deposits Ltd for 15 years and departed in late 2011. He secured the Sabodala gold and Grande Cote zircon projects in Senegal in West Africa, and commenced gold production in March 2009. The market capitalisation of Mineral Deposits Limited increased from A$6m in 2003 to over A$1b in 2011.
Andrew Pumphrey is a geologist and mine surveyor with over 30 years experience in the mining and exploration industry. He has extensive exploration field experience in exploring for gold, nickel, silver and zinc throughout Western Australia and has owned and operated private underground gold mining operations in WA. He also privately explored the Mulgabbie Gold project for over 30 years prior to OzAurum acquiring the project.
Based in Kalgoorlie since 1989, Andrew also has operated a successful exploration contracting business with an extensive knowledge of the geology of Western Australia.
For 5 years he was working in the role as Operations Manager & General Manager for MacPhersons Resources Ltd then as General Manager & Resident Manager of Horizon Minerals Boorara Open Pit Mining Operation. Previous to that he worked as Exploration Manager for MacPhersons Resources Ltd for 5 years. During this time he worked on and managed feasibility studies on Nimbus Ag Zn project and Boorara Gold heap leach project and the Booara gold resource was increased from 64,000 ozs to over 500,000 ozs.

Jessica Fertig is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tau Media, a boutique investor and media relations consultancy providing strategic support to ASX-listed companies across a range of sectors, including mining and resources. With over a decade of experience in investor relations, Jessica has been instrumental in the successful delivery of multiple IPOs and has worked extensively in-house for ASX-listed companies.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jessica serves as a Director of Australian Women in Mining and Resources (AWIMAR), where she is a vocal advocate for increasing diversity and fostering inclusion in the mining and resources industry.
Before founding Tau Media, Jessica’s career included roles in private equity, research equities, and at leading financial PR and investor relations agencies, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of the financial and corporate landscape.
Stephen Hewitt-Dutton is an experienced accountant having spent over 25 years in senior financial roles, including CFO roles at MacPhersons Resources Limited and CZR Resources Limited, and was also an Associate Director of Trident Capital.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University.
Prior to joining Trident Capital, Stephen worked in a big 4 accounting firm and corporate accounting roles, and most recently was an Associate Director of Carmichael Corporate where he assisted clients by providing equity market, IPO and M&A advice and assistance. He has also held Financial Controller and Company Secretary positions for both public and private companies for in excess of 15 years.
