Gold was mined at the Patricia gold mine in 1935, which produced 5,400oz at an average grade of 41 grams per tonne (g/t). More recent high-grade historic production in the mid 1980s from open-pit and underground:
4,115 tonne of ore was treated for 5,383 oz of gold at average grade 41g/t Au.
Remnant inferred resource of: 165,587 tonnes at 6.8 g/t for 35,561 oz Au (non JORC compliant)
Only shallow drilling returned high grade intercepts including:
PT 005 | 1.42m @ 51.02 g/t Au
PT 001 | 1.42m @ 29.09 g/t Au
PT 045 | 1.99m @ 43.71 g/t Au
And below the pit on section 10450N:
PT 012 | 2.30m @ 12.72 g/t Au
PT 110 | 1.0m @ 6.10 g/t Au, and 1.0m @ 12.50 g/t Au
PT 159 | 7.0m @ 4.29 g/t Au
inc1m @ 17.8 g/t Au
PT 160 | 1.0m @ 4.78 g/t Au
Potential high grade open pit + underground mining operation
Extend and upgrade resource to JORC 2012 compliance beneath existing mineralisation. The mineralisation is open at depth and along strike and the tenements are largely underexplored despite proximity to several operations.
